Agreed. His choice of clubs and the timing always surprises me. He could really stay at one club that would give him time and resources and where the fans won’t jump on his back, but somehow he joins the clubs that’s bound to fail for him one way or the other.
Which club would that be?
There is a good chance none of those clubs are interested in bringing him in. I can’t remember seeing him linked with one for a while.
There just aren’t that many of those clubs in general, are there?
The Everton squad visited Alder Hey Children’s Hospital today. “It was so heartbreaking to see their sad little faces with no hope” said Jack, age six.
7 without a win, 14th in the table. A tough run of fixtures coming up. Not sure Rafa is going to make Christmas.
2 months without a win.
To be fair, they also had a lot of important injures so far.
And we’re also speaking about a side that finished bloody 10th last season, after the early hype around European places.
Marvellous stuff.
If we don’t beat these cunts on Wednesday I’ll be gutted.
We’re gonna twat them 5-0 and Rafa will get the sack. A mercy killing.
We just need agent Rafa to hang in there for one more game.
Injuries don’t matter many a talking head told it wasn’t an excuse last season.
Has Rafa been sacked yet
I think the payoff means they won’t not yet anyhow, I think the injuries have really hit them as their squad isn’t big then again both Watford and Wolves have more out.
Shame Richardson is only out for the one game the snide Cnut
I really can’t see Everton’s board being in any rush to sack Rafa. He isn’t doing a bad job, the squad he was given wasn’t great and the club’s finances are a bit of a mess. They’re not that far off of 8th. It is going to be hard finding a better manager than Rafa that would want to come to the club right now.
If we stuff them at their own ground things will turn a bit nasty, so I wouldn’t rule it out.
I agree with you though. If they sack Rafa, and continue having injury problems, I can honestly see them being drawn into the relegation scrap.
Thursday morning.
Rafa getting sacked after getting beaten by us would be the ‘perfect’ ending to this story.
Would be hilarious stuff when it comes to banter.
Thought he would do better with them but it would never work in the long term with people like Duncan involved.
It was stupid by Rafa to join them but I respected his reasons behind it - with his family living there.
So I would also not feel sorry for if he gets the sack next week.
The big question is will our fans be chanting his name when we go 3-0 up.
Listen. Carrick has really impressed. Undefeated during his stint as United manager. That will be turning some heads in the Everton front office.
Rafa won’t be sacked when we smash the Bitters, clubs have accepted a spanking from us. Did they sack Ole after we stripped him?
