The commentators were right shit loads spent on that team and it’s left for Rafa to try and arrange it into something competent.

Indeed. If you’d told Everton fans 5 years ago that they’d spend 500 million over the next few years they’d have been jumping up and down in glee, as would most fans. The fact they were able to spend that money kind of went under the radar and whereas the new money clubs like City and Chelsea became immediately famous for being able to splurge but nobody noticed that Everton were going to be in a position to do so and that’s probably hampered them as they didn’t attract anyone of note and even getting Ancelotti went to pot resulting in him dropping them at the first possible chance.
That Brands chap… I think we have to give him an honorary position on the Kop and a season ticket for life. If we thought Moyes was a football genius he’s got nothing on this character. He’s overseen all that spending and two legendary European managers and seen the the most common phrases around Goodison become ‘fucking disgrace’ and ‘shit cunt’. Bar any of us having the job and accidentally burning the place to the ground, I don’t think a better job of cutting them down at the knees could have been done.

The only one who might make a difference is DCL. The rest of them are no better than the fucking crabs who played last night.
Gomes (remember him), Tom fucking Davies, Mina. If they’re relying on them 3 they’re in real trouble. No money in January unless they sell first but who have they got? They’d be lucky to get £20 million for that sulking Brazilian twat. Pickford if they can find anyone stupid enough to buy him.
It’s interesting seeing their opinion on all these players who were world-beaters just over a year ago. They hate Coleman and Digne, Allan’s been well and truly found out, Iwobi is useless…Townsend is getting the treatment now as well. Great to see. A couple of injuries to key players (not sure who they are) over a busy December and they’re well and truly in the shit.
