I’ll have a bitter please...It’s the Everton thread

How you make a football studio collectively jizz themselves?

Walk in and whisper quietly,… ‘Hamez’

To be fair, the list able to do that is quite long:

Ronaldo,
Fernandes,
Wan-Bissaka,
Ramsdale,
Tuchel,
Arteta,
Ederson (and Co)
etc etc

Come to think of it, they’re pretty easily satisfied. Must play havoc on the home front.

I have to say I disagree with this. There is a definite player in there. He is an excellent finisher. Just look at last night. With a different side who create better chances for him, he would thrive.

You don’t get 32 caps for Brazil while being an average player. I would snap him up as our fourth striker…

As in he won’t get more than 30m now for everton if he decides to go.

I should have phrased it correctly. But barca offering 85m should have been an easy decision for Everton

Don’t forget Cenk Tosun for £28m signed by the great Sam Alladross

Too much money being spent in an effort to prove they are able to compete with Liverpool.

The sooner the bitters get over this fixation , the better

Scholes will lick/suck his toes.

5th at best, surely?

He is a decent player Richarlison but I’m surprised you’d want him here given your stance on Suarez (correct me if I’m wrong).

Richarlison repeatedly tries to injure opposition players, dives, cheats, moans about everything and walks around with a permanent scowl on his face.

He’s well suited where he is.

Thugs, all of them.

Is it any wonder they behave like thugs when the crowd behave like a baying mob at the gladiators in the Coliseum…
They are all well suited to each other…

Big Duncan Ferguson probably coaches that part of training.

Townsend was a free. Their window of Townsend, Gray, and Begovic compares reasonably with most of the windows Iftikhar posted, notwithstanding it was £1.8 in total.

Not much of a surprise that Brand was out on his ear if he had resisted in bringing in those guys. Wait until they find out that Begovic can actually reach the crossbar.

Brand himself hasn’t been there that long either though has he? Didn’t he replace Walsh who Everton pinched from Leicester?

End of 17/18 season, so responsible for all of the windows listed above save the first.

Yes 5th or maybe 4th. Hypothetical but I believe JK would improve him and eliminate most of the tantrums. I bet most of it is borne out of frustration anyway. He is only 24 after all and we tend to forget that. These guys are just young lads and I recall myself at that age so I tend to cut these lads some slack.

I don’t like Suarez as a man. He is a snide but I can appreciate his footballing skills. 100% he would have been hated and vilified for his antics by our fan base if he had been at United or City just as Ronaldo or Cantona would have been Anfield legends but therein lies the inherent hypocrisy of your average football supporter.

Thing is, he hasn’t shown himself to like recruiting that kind of players anyway. Not to evoke memories of Rodgers but character does matter to Jürgen…

I’m at a bit of a loss here, you’re doing the exact same thing with Richarlison.

I think so, and while I admit I havent completely thought this through, I’d suspect we’d hate Robbo and think him a snidey shite if he played for City or Utd. We loved the thing with Messi, and the attitude of not backing down to anyone is essential, but if some jumped up little shit from a club like Napoli did that to Mo (after leaving one on him in a challenge) we’d be up in arms about it.

Not really. We have had loads of players over the years who were nasty little shits on the pitch. Didn’t stop me appreciating their skills though. I just think in this clearly hypothetical case, he could be moulded by JK as he is a young lad.

I forgot he existed until he came on for 5 mins during the derby
