I don’t particularly mind sell on fees if it lowers the fee you pay but fuck a buy back fee unless it’s silly money.
they are playing to the market (supply and demand). they will sell him but it might be back to the german team @Livvy mentioned, because that german team are open to a buy back option in two years just like we did with quansah. however not sure if they are still interested in him.

I think Livvy’s explanation likely explains it - trying to negotiate the add on price to remove PSG’s interest in how he develops.

As I understand it, Leverkusen’s interest has likely cooled off. We are now essentially just monitoring the situation to see if the price drops—though it would have to come down significantly.

they will find a club who will either take him on the cheap with a buy back or take him on loan. psg is too rich, they dont nedd the money
It would certainly tell PSG not to fuck with us…if they are playing games it might give them a second thought,but probably not!
But then part of their issue seems to be with his agent or entourage. Does that change in two years?
Also it’s clear him and the club have reached something of an impass. Does he want to leave on a deal that still gives PSG control over his future even though they’ve made it clear they don’t want him anymore.
Maybe next week we start to see him or his agent push for some kind of sensible resolution because he can’t sit in the stands all season.

Unless Elliott or Chiesa also leave in which case i could see us going for all three
Chiesa and Elliott now seem to be behind Koumas in the pecking order, so it’s likely they’d look elsewhere.
