Watching both our CB’s yesterday had me seething at their lack of energy and willingness to make recovery runs and Ibou at times was sauntering back after ending up the wrong side of the ball.
Prime example is their goal.
On keeping him, I am at a crossroads, on his day he can be a rock but this season he has very few of those days and has been a liability.
I do agree that heneeds competition for his place, if he stays.
I’d say it’s positive news.
With time, we’ll find out what kind of contract/wages they agreed on (but of course, not how it’s structured).
And how it’s comparable to our other pieces at CB and in the team in general.

What has happened to Ibou’s pace, he looks a lot slower than in the past and players are beating him to the ball i.e Sesco today when he got away with the push in the back.
I’m sure in the past he would have put on the afterburners and beaten him to the ball???
He looks huge to me. Mentioned it to my lad a few weeks ago, it’s probably slowed him down.
He has always looked heavy but now he looks, heavy and slow
its weird when even the most armchair of fans look at the side and comment on how out of shape they look…
then we have happy holiday snaps here there an everywhere… mad bantz training session videos…
its the lowest of low hanging fruit…just train hard and keep a low profile for a bit…

I haven’t seen any of these but what if anything is the point of them. I’m very old admittedly but I simply don’t get it. Have they got too many young marketing graduates with not enough to do?
It’s some inside content, what the football side judges is alright for the fans or public to see. We’re pretty good at it in last years, one of the best in the game. Plus, it attracts numbers and those are some of the little things we were so poor at or so far behind in some past times.
There was one that came out on Saturday showing an argument between Isak and Jerry about who got to use a piece of equipment, with Maca having to come between them
My initial reaction was “this looks really bad, but dont read too much into it.” But then I started thinking and couldnt for the life of me think what anyone thought the value of releasing it was. At best it was dumb bantz. At worst it was toxic arseholishness that someone decided to make public.
