Or he simply pointed at Madrid and said “did you not have enough of covering out at right-back every time that lad wanders off and then saunters back? Well he’s still doing that over there but the boos are louder”

Watching both our CB’s yesterday had me seething at their lack of energy and willingness to make recovery runs and Ibou at times was sauntering back after ending up the wrong side of the ball.
Prime example is their goal.
On keeping him, I am at a crossroads, on his day he can be a rock but this season he has very few of those days and has been a liability.
I do agree that heneeds competition for his place, if he stays.
I’d say it’s positive news.
With time, we’ll find out what kind of contract/wages they agreed on (but of course, not how it’s structured).
And how it’s comparable to our other pieces at CB and in the team in general.
