I can’t help but think Barcola, Ngumoha, Isak, Munoz and Gakpo is a more balanced forward line than Barcola, Ngumoha, Isak, Munoz and Sarr.

Swapping Gakpo for Minteh is something I could sort of see the logic with, the latter being a natural right sided player, although I would still be worried about the cover for Isak.

I really hope the £75m price tag is enough to make us walk.

Keep Gakpo. Get a right back on loan. Make do with the squad until January when we have a new sporting director

Sarr is a good player and I could see him being a regular goalscorer for us but I picture him as the 4th attacker. I wouldn’t pay £75m for it.

Age doesn’t worry me too much.
