I thought heā€™d be better. He was largely brought up in the East side of Manchester, which isnā€™t that far away, but the dialect can be surprisingly different.

Maybe he can introduce scousers to ā€œbobbinsā€, ā€œtrumpingā€ and the ā€œchufty badgeā€?

According to Lewis Steele, Frimpong is facing a race against time to be fit for Newcastle. He actually got subbed against Bournemouth because of discomfort in his hamstring, not because it was a tactical decision from Slot as I first thought.

Yeah slot spoke about it after the game. He complained at half time about his hamstrong tightening so they told him to go back out and be sensible with his sprints forward and see how it goes, and with Bradley already out they decided it was safest to take him off. That is why the moves at RB were so weird because not only did we need to make that change, but Gomez wasnt ready for a full 30 minutes having only done about 2 training sessions since returning from injury so he tried to get as many minutes out of Endo there as he could and kept Gomez for a break glass in emergency situationā€¦which only took about 10 mins to find ourselves in :rofl:

Did anyone see the footage of Xabi catching up with his ex leverkusen lads after the game? Flo got a big bear hug and he hung all over him through the entire conversation. Frimpong, who was standing right next to Flo, only got a belated head nodding ā€œsā€™upā€ gesture from him :rofl:
