Apparently out for a few weeks but not as bad as it seemed so I assume that rules out the worst possible tear.
Probably serious strain, noticed we don’t play CL until March so probably have him back for that.

After ten minutes as a substitute, Frimpong has gone off injured again he’s either injured or on the verge of getting injured. He’s a mediocre defender and can’t deliver a decent cross; what a waste of our money.
That’s your idea of support?
Are you really a Liverpool supporter?
Yes are you?
Well try and offer support nowand again, not just criticism!
This is now his 5th injury this season. Prior to that, he had only had one significant layoff which was in 2022 with Leverkusen. He makes a mockery of that idiom “Previous injury is the strongest predictor of future injury.”
My question would be whether our training and/or physio department is doing something wrong, or if he actually lacks the experience of recovering from an injury and is pushing himself too hard or too early.
He’s 25. If he was injury prone, surely that would have shown up earlier?
What was the injury last night?
No word yet. I’m wondering if it is a reoccurrence of the same hamstring injury.
Our preseason conditioning seems to have been poor.
As it’s a world cup year I doubt we will get a decent preseason next year either.
Support is something you show at the stadium, not on an internet forum. None of the players are reading this, you know. If you don’t like what I’ve written, just hit the block button. Have a nice day.
Slot said “Jeremie, the national team doctor of the Netherlands tells us that it was precautionary that they took him out. But he will have a scan later today to see.”

If our physio dept or training methods is doing something that exacerbates or causes injuries they should be gone. In a professional set up its hard to believe such a thing can happen?
I suppose we have some players that appear indestructible unless they are physically assaulted (Salah, Virg for example), whilst others seem to go down in a light breeze.
The Frimpong case seems odd, because he was largely injury free until we signed him.
Injury histories and different ways of treatments are no guarantees for the future unfortunately. Players can start picking up injuries of all sorts at any point. Came to a new club, new league, probably the most intense there is. Questions how good was our pre-season will remain and we’ll never know.
Good that it was a precation though so it could be nothing.
I would say he probably should have been considered a bit more carefully.
Coming off relatively cold from the bench isn’t going help. Perhaps Holland should have sat him out.
Sounds like an investment commercial…
“Past Performance Is No Guarantee of Future Results”
Why cold, didn’t he warm up? Probably even had more minutes to do so, if he came on at HT.
Suppose if he trained throughout half time then he didn’t. I am a bit wary of these players coming back playing three games and then heading off on international break.
But it’s suitable to 100% blame Slot for everything so I won’t bother adding anymore comments on the subject.
You see it all the time, someone gets injured and player coming on does no warm up, also happens regularly with routine substitutions
