He was, insisting a crap ref abides by the rules, match must be stopped for a blood injury
, is nonsense.
There should be something said here though as the ref seemed to have been informed many times and didnāt bat an eyelid.
The question is what can be done about these refs who seem to decide the rules as they go on. Also why have this VAR system if it can only intervene after the ref has stopped the match? and still get it wrong.
I have to say up until that incident I was ready to praise him. He played well and was busy he also attacked.
Did we get any comment about the sub? I assumed at the time it was because the ref was making him go off because the blood and we didnt want to be momentarily down to 10, but saw lots of comments on here suggesting it was because he lost his head
I think we took him off to prevent a situation of massive added time (and sometimes when refs give more than it was officially added).
Thatās what Slot said at the press conference.
What? I offered two options? ![]()
The added time scenario, you have to realise by now I give short shrift to internet opinion.
Has the potential to be really good and showed why in his limited minutes. Key thing is fitness.
He hadnāt really had any kind of injury record before he arrived. He was just unlucky to a two month one early in his time with us.
I think he is starting to show some performances which is good to see. What we do with him going forward and whether he is used further forward or at right back we will see.
Oh my word!!! What is it with LFC and long term injuries, especially at RB.
Jeremie Frimpong suffered a Grade 3 tear to his hamstring after coming off injured last night against QarabaÄ.
A Grade 3 tear is the most severe injury an athlete can suffer and the recovery is usually around 3-4 months to full fitness ![]()
Who or what is jinxing us this season? This is beyond just bad luck.
I saw the other day that Dorgu got injured and was expected to miss around ten weeks with a hamstring injury. Then I thought, ten to twenty years ago, hamstring injuries took about three to four weeks, though they did recur a lot. Now they still recur but the player is out for months. Rotten luck, itās his third injury in six months or so that heās been with Liverpool. I donāt think he had any injuries prior to joining us.
Whatās the source for that not moaning just rather it came from a Joyce or a Pearce than somewhere else.
No longer on X so canāt check it.

I donāt think it was a legitimate source considering the lack of other press and a post on it 10 hours ago.
So there isnāt anything yet? Considering how long we seem to take a scan I did find it a little odd to be honest.
Guess Slot will give an update tomorrow.
