“It’s nice to be back among the boys. It’s been a long time, so I’m relishing it, to do team training today after such a long time means a lot. I think speaking for us both, we loved every minute of it.”
“There were so many moments, right at the beginning, when me and Virgil were at home on the sofa and couldn’t move, and we were FaceTiming and speaking about things. It’s someone to relate to, to vent to at times when you’re frustrated, so it was massive.”
“I am enjoying it, taking it a day at a time, but thankful to be out here with the lads and happy to wear the badge again.”

We’re so used to the first few days of pre-season being a case of “who’s that?” with the senior players all coming in late, that seeing Gomez, Virgil, Matip, Keita, and the Ox all show up and do a full session is amazing.

Aye classy boots, Joel and Naby were the only other players I spotted with black boots in the video from the camp.
If I were to wear anyone’s boots from that it would be Klopp’s, Black adidas with white stripes nout better

Whole year! 
5 days into preseason and rumours of joes knee inflamed. 
These things will happen due to increased intensity. That’s why they need preseason.

Yeah just happens due to added stress on the knee. Ice it up for a day or two and he should be fine.

Klopp on Gomez: "No setbacks at all. Not for Joe, nothing – he’s trained completely normal.
“That’s the thing, these boys are not injured anymore, they are just not at 100 per cent yet. There are usually setbacks but so far there were no setbacks with Joe and Virgil and nobody [else] – they are all fine.
“What they had to do they did, no reaction with the knee, nothing, all fine. The world wide web had obviously too much time.”
