Mail claiming that itā€™s a serious injury and heā€™s likely to be out for a prolonged period of time. Hopefully thatā€™s Mail being Mail but it doesnā€™t change the fact that weā€™ll be without Van Dijk, Gomez and TAA in the coming weeks. Thatā€™s 3 out of the starting 4. At this rate, by the end of the season no one will be left standing.

Fuck the internationals and the idiots who thought they should go on. Fuck the PL and the small-time, small-minded clubs that oppose 5 substitutions as well.

Taking the risk to go into a season like this with only three recognised centre backs, two of which are notoriously injury prone, and a DM who also is no stranger to picking up injuries also looks a bit foolish at this point.

No it isnā€™t. We had four Centre Backs. Thatā€™s enough. Signing Thiago to an already stocked Midfield, liberates Fabinho to do more at CB.

Itā€™s just really, really, really unlucky. Van Dijk nobbled for the season in a cunts challenge, then Gomez and Fabinho are shafted within a couple of weeks.
