Very soon apparently.

Our decision not to go for a CB is paying off nicely so far…

Just like City’s last season.

Liverpool need to be asking serious questions about this. WTF were they doing during this England training session, that caused a serious injury?? These players are fit anyway and don’t need to be doing any contact training. All they need to work on are tactics. I’m so angry!!

I’m in the garage now, trying to find my boots!

The best thing we can do right now is send some covid-infected escorts round to Jamie Vardy’s place.

The Nation League came because they did not want to play meaningless friendly’s anymore and what do they do now, the play a meaningless friendly as a preparation for the NL.

FFS!

Unconfirmed reports are saying that there was a collision with… of all people, Jordan Pickford!

Would not be surprising at all. He is a danger to fellow professionals.

Gonna have to remain positive.

City didn’t replace the voice in their dressing room last year, and lost their best player early. We’ve lost our best defender, and one of the many voices on the pitch, but he’s still there off the field.

Right now, we are 1 point of top having played some of our tougher fixtures already, and top the CL group. Time for Rhys and Phillips to step up - gonna need to get behind them.

Playing in empty grounds will prob suit the young lads right now.

If that’s true, the pubs on County Road will reopen tonight for the celebrations. The blueshite won’t care about the lockdown.

There you go again with the “four center backs” fairy tale.
At some point you have to be honest with yourself at the least!

This was always a major risk…

The Pickford suggestion was started by a fake Joyce account. I’ve also seen suggestions it’s a broken leg or a knee injury all without any substance. It is consistently being reported as serious though.

Not sure which reports you’re referring to as I’ve only read the news but when it comes to Liverpool, all injury reports are always as bad as feared. Maybe it just isn’t meant to be this season, Liverpool made exactly the same mistake as Man City last season. I hope it’s not some ligament injury again and that he’ll be able to play again at some point this season.

Absolutely maddening bad luck. I feel for Joe and hope he recovers soon.

The moment I saw posts alert on this thread, I knew

Yes, things look dire. But I feel this is an excellent opportunity for the likes of Rhys, Nat, Neco and others and I’m sure they are going to come out all guns blazing.

And this is just the start of the international break. No games have been played yet.

I hope to god it’s not his knee, even a broken leg is another I’d fear… He’s had a lot of big injuries at such a young age.

It’s one thing for Nat to handle a soft and one dimensional player like Seb Haller, wait until he has to deal with crafty and skilled forwards the likes of Vardy, Kane, Son, etc.

This bad luck is almost surreal.

After the internnational break it will be Fabinho and Matip.

Fingers crossed. At this point I’m taking nothing for granted.

EDIT: and screw Gareth Southgate. I realize it is irrational of me to blame him but I don’t care. All of my anger is directed at him.
