Klopp also said that it’s possible Hendo might train with the team next week.
Very depressing and disturbing news. Was hoping that he will be spared. We need him, fit & fresh, for the next season.
He was the only player other than Salah managed to retain his form, until his injury.
And I am saying this as a former major Hendo critic in the past.
Go slow, Hendo. Or else the Euro will ruin you, again.
Oh fuck, he will be going to the Euro
This is a great interview, what a human being this lad is.
Team training as well slightly odd to see.
Nice piece in today’s New York Times about the captain ; Liverpool's Jordan Henderson: The Captain of Everything - The New York Times
Thanks for posting this. It makes me think to say something I probably shouldn’t here, but I’m starting to think that Jordan has become a better captain than Gerrard.
Mind as good a player as I think Jordan is, he’s not in Stevie’s class there. But he has taking on the leadership role in and out of the clubs in a way few captains have and that - along with the trophies of the past couple years out him in elite company.
He has had to work his way up through adversity, he is nowhere near as good as Gerrard (not to say he isn’t good he is), but captain wise I think the CL final pushed him on.
They say the best managers are made of that mould (Klopp would be an example). So who knows maybe Hendo/Milner combo might be a future management team
Is that before we get Stevie and Xabi or after?
NOOOOOO HENDO never scored for England and misses the pen
Well he was always crap taking penalties for us as well…
Think that’s his second England pen missed. Against Colombia aswell. Thankfully I can’t remember his Liverpool penalties.
Yeah, even if he scored a few worldies, he’s certainly not the type I’d have for a dead ball situation.
It has been awhile - really since Milner arrived and took over the duties so only a year or after Gerard left and before that. Never convinced from the spot.
Many many great attributes as a player and a captain of course, but find anyone else to take the spot kicks.
