And it’s just glorious if you add tikhar after it.
I think people might be in for a bit of an unpleasant surprise if they think Hendo is capable of performing that kind of role even half as effectively as Milner has during his time here.
Think he already covered at RB once or twice.
I remember a game at Blackburn when we had a man sent of under Kenny, he was moved to RB.
Already covered right back during Trent’s career and Trent’s assists record.
The man couldn’t see a five yard forward pass to Elliot who was in absolutely acres of space yesterday, he’d be a disaster at right back if you want any sort of creative output from that position.
Oh dear. Not what I said was it.
Putting the boot in on Jordan? Hang yer head in shame.
Even King Kenny reached a point where he couldn’t physically do it anymore.
Jordan can be a squad player and as a part of that role could cover right back from time to time.
Call it sticking the boot in if you like. I think the unfortunate reality is that he’s fallen below the standard we need now if we are to become competitive at the top of the league again and his performances this season for the first time during his time here have warranted the amount of criticism that is coming his way.
Top level sport can be ruthless. My take on our current situation is that we have a few difficult decisions staring us in the face in the summer in regards to certain players being moved on and Hendo finds himself among that group.
They had the absolute master of rejuvenating a squad over in Manchester for 20 odd years. I think I know what he’d be doing if faced with our current predicament.
This I agree with. Obviously Jordan is not 1st name on the team sheet anymore. Unfortunately it’s due to age, which affects ability.
Defo we need to be more ruthless at moving people on. I just think Jordan could play a valuable squad role as the team evolves. Milner, Ox and Keita gone at the end of this season and Jordan end of 2024.
He’s a once every two week player at this point.
If he has to be effective playing once a week, he can only play strictly one half
The off the field impact players like Milly and Hendo have is really under appreciated as well.
A big part of what we’re seeing is injuries resulting in fit players being forced to play when we likely wouldn’t have wanted them to if we had more control over things. That is especially problematic coming in a season following the incredible workload of last year, which such a shirt summer to recharge and a midseason world cup. There are some players who are playing now like their legs have gone when in reality they are really just suffering the effects of having had a hole dug for themselves without the lack of recovery. Some of those will be capable of returning to peak physical condition with some time to recoup in the summer.
He’s played pretty much three in 8 days.
Liverpool with Jordan Henderson starting in the Premier League this season:
Games: 14
Wins: 8
Draws: 3
Losses: 3
Liverpool without Jordan Henderson starting in the Premier League this season:
Games: 12
Wins: 4
Draws: 3
Losses: 5
Unfortunately, neither are good enough.
The only one good reason I can assume Jordan is prolonging his England career for that serial under-achieving numpty Southgate, instead of giving his body some rest in his autumn years to aid the LFC cause… is that he may have ambitions himself of managing the National team at some future date… Not blotting his CV so to speak
When I’m drunk on a night out in Zagreb and see this in the toilet.
What a random, but nice surprise.
Probably the first LFC player to give a direct assist to the opponent this season. What a nightmare he has!
Obviously you haven’t watched many of our games, even our best player has assisted but don’t let the truth get in the way of your captain hatred.
