Yeah he’s go8ng to be ducking brilliant isn’t he. The two things every international manager has to deal with is players who aren’t that motivated to show up and aren’t really at it when they do, and a couple of positions you have to fill without obvious answers. Klopp will have Goretzka begging for the opportunity to be included and play LB and make Germany’s best option.

aside from what he does with the senior mens national team, i wonder what he will do for german football in general…if i was of german heritage, thats what id be getting excited over…
whatever his official remit is, im sure he’ll have further reaching influence…
around 7 years is his go to time isnt it?.. two world cup cycle…

I might be repeating myself but I hope both Iraola and Klopp go for a 4-3-3 with Wirtz as a #8 (LCM), a hardworking box2box midfielder next to him at RCM and a defensive midfielder behind them.
