Jürgen Klopp - Liverpool Legend

How quick did those 8 and some years go.

Can still remember calling for him to come in when Rodgers was doling us around Autumn 2015. We could all see it transform overnight.

Isn’t the boss anymore.

Someone wants to debate on this renamed thread name.

Bite me.

I dont want it scrapped. As it stands its probably the best thing we have to show how utterly useless and possibly bent PL officials are.

Six of THAT team gone in the past two years and now the manager and a bunch of his staff too. Entirely possible Salah gets added to that list this summer as well.

It really is the end of an era on and off the pitch. That was some ride and I can’t get my head round the fact it’s over. He really did change everything about the club. The mentality, the belief, the standards, the fans, the stadium, the training ground, every single player. He’s left his mark on every aspect of the club he’s touched.

For fans of my age it’s hard to remember a better time and it’s even harder to envisage anything coming close again in the future. Just feels like the only way is down from here.

My love of football has been waning in the last couple years. More responsibilities and young kids meaning I can’t watch as much as I once did. All the shite with VAR, shitty Social Media and YouTube banter fans, City and the pending charges, the money it costs to watch even from the comfort of your own sofa. It’s all just felt like football has become far less enjoyable and less worthy of putting your heart and energy into.

But he’s the person that’s kept my interest hanging on in there. He’s the man you want to get behind and support. I genuinely don’t know how arsed I’ll be from here on out, even if the new guy is sound enough. I wonder how some of the players might feel about it too.

Thanks for everything Jürgen, it was the time of our lives.

10 years fucking passed by too quickly (well it’s been 9 and a half officially but)

It’s the sign of healthy the relationship has been between me and the club during that time as opposed to how toxic it had been at various times before.

Thanks Jurgen. Really wished for another 10 years more but still.

Saying we might see Bradley, Clark and Danns tearing up the league in 10 years and think back to the connection.

Yup, I concur with every word. Have hardly missed a match in 30+ years but it was Klopp and the togetherness/community/empathy/perspective that’s kept me interested as the PL has become a billionaire sportswashing enterprise. Really not sure if my interest will continue. Let’s see

Eat your heart out Pep. There’s a difference between a legend and a cheque book manager.

Credit some of those Wolves fans for staying back to be fair. Nice touch from them.

Probably wanted to soak in the atmosphere.

No disrespect to wolves but most clubs including them aren’t going to be in a position to give a send off to a manager.
