The Boss on fans and media being too quick to judge Haaland and Núñez:

What a fella/person Jürgen is. I’ve just had a go at Darwin in the matchday thread. I’d had time to think about it on the way home yet still spilled my disappointmentout. Jürgen had a mic put in front of him minutes after what must have been a disappointing draw and comes out with that.
I have a huge regret. I grew up in a time when their was a man around who had true morals. I felt that I knew him well. He did so many great things for me. He gave me so much happiness. If I’d have taken a leaf out of his book I’d be a better person now.
He’s back, I’m much older. He keeps telling me things. He’s not my Dad now, he’s my Son.
I really must try harder.
Those men are Shanks and Jürgen. Sitting here now having a post match whisky, it’s easy for me to be critical (as it is in the stands), but in reality each and every one of our lads wanted to win tonight.
I really think that I need to start thinking things through. Those players will be hurting tonight.
Jürgen will know the right way to deal with each and every one of them.
I love that song.
But,
I have so many regrets.
And yet none. My regrets are of a life of ‘what if’.
But, if I compare it to the life I have? Then, what if not? I’m in such a happy place. If you’ve watched ‘The Butterfly Effect’ or ‘Sliding Doors’ (Two more for the film thread 30 movies) then you may think how different your life could be (better/worse)?
With my ‘potential’ I think that where I am now is a good place. Of course I’d want to be Mo or Darwin (In past times see Keegan, King Kenny, etc) is but I’ll take watching them perform every week.
But I’m going to try and watch the game through Jürgen’s eyes.
Did you choose to watch Conception or was it just on the telly?
