Thanks Tsimikas, now I can breathe easy.
On LFCTV Gary Gillespie pointed out his fellow Scot is a whole lot meaner with his throw ins when it comes to opposition players not winning possession than Kostas, and balanced that with a remarkable statement that Robertson wasn’t as good at delivering crosses. Getting a bit carried away there GG.
Really looking forward to seeing him get a chance. I have a good feeling about him. The poor guy’s in a difficult situation though. No matter how well he plays he won’t ever keep Robbo out of the team, but his attitude has been exemplary so far.
He’s been good in the pre-season.
Hope he gets a good 20-25 matches this time around. Will allow Robbo to recuperate well
He did OK today. He got caught a couple of times particularly near the end when he was quite obviously knackered. His delivery is superb and I like that he’s always looking ahead when he’s in the opposition half. Got a couple of bollockings at the end from the Bigger Boys when his concentration started to slip but he will sleep well tonight. Put in a mega-shift.
Booby’s got his “no look” goals; maybe Kostas can have his “no lick” assists?
Sorry but…
It’s an easy mistake. No need to be a tit about it
This guy was great today.
Really happy for this guy and now firmly has the crowd onside with that battling display whilst injured at the end!
Proper warrior, might even be a better crosser than Robbo!
He’s no Jamal Lewis, but he’ll do.
Hope his injury is just a bit of a shoulder knock and nothing more.
The Greek Scouser is shaping up to be a cult favourite
His crossing is so amazing. Looked confident and wanting more as the game went on. Hope he’ll keep featuring now even if Robbo is fully fit and available.
Let’s all laugh at City for spending hundreds of millions on full-backs and still not signing anyone as good as Tsimi (circa £12m)
So we’ve spent around £20m on the two best left backs in the league! Nice!
