La Liga discussion

ITV in the UK have picked up some La Liga games, odd they haven’t trialed a highlights show especially the weeks they haven’t got a game.

Barca closed a 100M Euro sale of 24.5% of Barca Studios today, but at 1700 Xavi was still saying they have not registered this summer’s signings yet (which includes a couple of re-signings). They hope to get it done by the deadline 2 hours before kick-off.

Is that another 25%? Didnt they already do 50% earlier in the summer?

  • 50% Domestic TV revenue
  • 50% Barca Licensing
  • 50% Barca Productions

How many organs do they have left to donate / sell?

Apparently all registrations have now been approved except for Kounde and the resignings of Dembele and Roberto. I have no idea how these are sequenced or prioritized, but presumably it is up to Barca. I’ve read the system is literally as simple as there being an app and if you dont have the cap space to register a player the button will be disabled. So presumably cap space was opened up and Barca were free to determine which of their unregistered players they wanted to register first.

Knowing how scammy they are, they will probably take the companies to court and argue that is supposed to be:

50% licensing.
50% production, that is under the licensing, so that’s 25%.
50% tv, which is under production, so 12.5%.

Ask them to renegotiate at a lower fee and pay back lost interest along with lawyer fees, who in turn overcharge and throw kickbacks backs to Barca.

Switched on the Barca game 15 minutes ago.

De Jong doesn’t play like he’s been abused by Barca fans and put under pressure by his club.

Busquets sent off. 5 minutes left in injury time.

How did Barca register the new players? Have they worked out something with La Liga?

Sold off another chunk of future income/assets on Friday, mortgaging the future. Makes a home draw something of a let down

Good result for Vallecano, they had chances as well.

I hope we had a small part to play by fleecing them for Coutinho and them leaving them hamstrung in the finance department. Nice to get some karmic payback for Suarez and Mascherano

It’s not firing for Real so far, Almeria are busy up top.

Real needs a Benzema back-up/successor.

Interesting stuff from Real.

Rudiger looked bad on Almeira’s goal, something that been speculated might happen more often when no longer in the protection of 3CBs. Neither Camavinga nor Touchemi had a good game and it took Modric coming on at half time for the former to get some control of the game.

He got caught again on another why players stick their hands up instead of chase back always gets me.

Wonderful, singing in unison!
