Seems to be some whispers that Julian Ward is coming back in some capacity. Not sure exactly where it’s coming from or how reliable but would certainly be an interesting twist and even more interesting in light of the news Mikey Edwards is setting up his own consulting shop.

Just to unhelpfully add to this, in education we also have have full time vs term time only jobs.
So:
Do you have the job full time? No I’m just covering for a few weeks.
Do you have a full time job? No I only work 2 days a week.
Do you have a full time job? No I’m term time only.
Just showed my wife this as she’s a teacher. Let’s just say she vehemently disagrees with that definition.
And she works three days a week I suggested that makes her part-part time and will now be sleeping on the sofa for the foreseeable.
Nah. Your wife’s dead wrong. You can tell her I said so.
I also teach term-time only and that definitely makes me part-time.
So while my full-time colleague are currently having to deal with bullshit committee meetings, I’m struggling to occupy my time until the second semester begins on October 1st.

TBH, I didn’t go to far past “according to BILD” but if they are getting another sporting director this needs to be done well in advance of next summer’s transfer window, unless it is intended that Jörg should see that one out.

Isn’t BILD the German equivalent of Mail? Doesn’t mean they can’t get something right, occasionally.
Probably nearer to the S*n in style. Sensationalism and soft porn. It’s not quite as bad as the British tabloids but I wouldn’t believe anything in it unless verified elsewhere and I wouldn’t waste time reading it.

Sorting out the Sporting Director/Director of Football role is arguably more important that who replaces Jurgen right now.
Since Edwards left, along with other key members like Ian Graham, things have been below par.
It was for a season but last summer was brilliant!

I think that we’ll shortly hear the name of the new sporting director. But I hope that the head coach issue has already been adressed, or at least, that a clear plan is in place. It would be very hard for the new man to have as first task to replace the most successful Liverpool manager in the last 40 years or so.

Klopp announces before the window is closed - does that impact any deals getting done? Has he maybe had to come clean to a player we’re trying to get over the line so they dont feel conned and that instigated the decision to go public?
