Ligue Un discussion

To deter opposing fans from targeting them for violence. this seems very much the same sort of solution as not testing is a solution to rising covid cases.

The issue at Nantes is even worst than guessed on here. Though the fine is only €30k not 50k.
The reasonning is that there is a group of Nantes supporters who are at ‘logger heads’ with FC Nantes presidency and the Prefecture note not the City (though it might have been asked for by the city) (prefecture is Departement). These fans are boycotting matches and the Prefecture is worried they might protest outside the stadium.
Hope that clears some misunderstandings up!

Nantes 3-0 PSG

And it’s only half time.

Wijnaldum has been shit, gave away the pen for the 3rd and generally is not a good player.

‘Operation serves you right for leaving me out of the CL squad’

Imagine leaving the best club in the world, where you were fortunate enough to be a regular under Klopp, the best manager in the world, to going to a 1 club league where you out of favour straight away & who has no chance in Europe.

He’s a fool.

@Flobs Bordeaux bottom of the table, seems like the ownership change didn’t work.

I think it was a big mess, noone benefitted from that take over. I lost interest as I thought, ‘this is nuts’.

Wasn’t his first choice. I think Barca was his first choice and then they had a bit of an implosion. Pretty sure PSG saw the opportunity, he said why not and it was done. My own opinion, obviously.

LOL PSG are a mess. The fans spent all game yesterday booing Messi and Neymar while notably not giving the same treatment to Mbappe. They celebrated Neymar blasting a free kick over the bar and then booed him when he scored and refused to celebrate

When money is so freely available in this game, why would anyone who has options go to play there?

Our world – sadly – operates on the “it could always be more” principle.

How desperate can a club become…?

Aaah, so money can’t buy love (or even a lucrative contract)

If I was Mbappe, that kind of offer would be the final push for me to f°ck off elsewhere.

So they suggest he can play Fifa with an actual club, what a joke of a club.
