Ligue Un discussion

Bollocks what he says about the La Liga president. Talking about the liga that allows rediculous buyout clauses. Let Messi take control of Barça …
It’s hypocracy and anyone trying to be objective has to see through it.
It’s sour grapes!!!
It was/is a rediculous saga , yet I’m sure many were facinated by it. We are not in a real world we are in a world governed by money. It’s what most have voted for for decades now. The fascination is real as shown by what is tweeted.

We believe you guys…

Ah, Monaco managed to sneak into Champions League spot.

@Flobs Bordeaux went down.

Yes they did and I don’t think the fans are any happier. A complete nonsense, then again it is France.

Really sad. They used to be champions and a regular in Champions League.

Paris might not win the CL in the next 10 years and even if they do in the next few years Kylian is not going to win the Ballon D’Or there for just winning one.

It’s definitely easier to win both (CL and the individual trophy) at a Club like Real.

Think he will regret that decision big time.

So what?
You’ve just listed what’s wrong with the sport, Ballon d’or and easier at some cheating club, the one you mentionned when they had the money bought all and sundry just so other clubs couldn’t buy the player FFS!

The hypocracy in the sport is manic.

Anyway even if he regrets staying at Home his mummy will be there to confort him.

Mbappe’s mum has been rather quiet recently.

How long until she is released from wherever they are holding her?

Auxerre just relegated St Etienne on penalties cue some horrific shit with flares being thrown at the benches and the main stand.

Scum

Meanwhile in Ligue Un, St Etienne are not happy being being relegated. It looks like a war zone. How do they get all those flares and fireworks in there without checks.

and this

OMG! They are throwing flares at people, shit!! I hope the people in the stands are alright.

I was never a big fan of the French but it is safe to say that after last night it is at a all time low … :face_vomiting:

I wonder why the big stand on the right is empty? It’s their ‘Kop’ so to say. Were they under safety restrictions, or punished for previous transgressions?

Anyway, I’m sad to see St-Etienne go down. It’s a club with genuine fans and genuine passion for their club. As we see, that passion can sometimes overflow and become dangerous, but in general terms, it’s a club with a soul and a history.

Anyway, they will be back one day, hopefully soon.

I sometimes bet on French football and I’ve seen a fair few stoppages in that league this season so I assume it was the case most of the season. I’m sure Bordeaux also suffered.

Is’t a shite league in a shite country, nuff ‘said

You’ve never been to Belgium or Hollande have you?

I always wanted to go to a match in 5 of the European leagues. I thought French football was tame.

I better stick to 5 a side on Sundays in the park.

“Impresionante”, really yeah. :man_facepalming:t2:
