Interesting to see what Botman is like without him, suppose Botman has learnt from him.
Anyhow this is an amazing achievement and if I’m honest is the very reason the ESL as it was set up should never even been given the time of day.

Definitely one to watch. It’s no small feat to beat the heavyweights in this league with a club on something like a shoestring budget. I’m looking forward to see how he does at Nice, but am a bit stunned that he didn’t get offers from bigger clubs.
As for Lille, it’s well deserved, and everything going against those Quatari-Parisian ©°~†ß is welcome for me!

This is rather surprising. He has done well with Lille in the previous seasons too, so this was no fluke and he is genuinely a good manager. How come clubs like Dortmund, Leipzig, Spurs, Roma, etc. didn’t approach him?

Nice isn’t that odd, more security, better plan sportif, greater security and perhaps Galtier is looking to get closer to his roots.
He knows that Lille have some very difficult and hard choices to make this summer and Nice don’t, I’m not sure he’ll get all the promises Nice have made but the future looks a lot brighter there.
I hate Nice horrible place allez L’OM.

Have Lille hired anyone yet?
No but some more names, Rudi Garcia and Fatih Terim anyones guess. I think they are having trouble finding someone. They need to off load players and won’t be able to bring in any names so I don’t think it’s attractive enough for the likes of Garcia. The Turkish press apparently think this Fatih Terim is close and I think that’s pretty likely concidering the circumstances.
