We used to have a thread on TIA for news about coaching staff other than Jurgen. Thought I’d reopen one here to post this news:
I have been waiting for Mona to do this. I am so happy that she is written a book on some scrumptious and nutritional cl7b recipes.
The book will be available on 30th September.
Our kit man since 1999 Graham Carter is retiring after this season
Carter began working for the Reds as a coach driver in the 1970s – a role that he took on full-time in 1986 – before joining the team at Melwood under Gerard Houllier in 1999.
A belated welcome to Dr Andreas Schlumberger who joined our club in December 2020 from Schalke at roughly the time Ozan Kabak arrived on loan from the same club.
Dr Schlumberger is the Recovery and Performance Specialist in the medical team and has had his hands full since day one, not least with Ozan who he will have had in the treatment room in his previous job.
I wonder if Kabak’s future at our club rests partly in the doctor’s hands as he assists in the recovery of our fifth choice CB
Hasn’t made too much a difference unfortunately. Was supposed to come in with new methods of injury prevention etc but we have had similar amounts since December anyways
You can’t expect drastic improvements overnight.
Maybe not but he came in and instantly put Naby on a new rehabilitation program and what 5 months later he’s suffering injuries to the same extent really. Not great
I don’t think we should beat anyone with the Naby stick.
A bit off track, I think expectations on all medical/recovery teams should be lowered. There’s simply too many games and that is continually weakening the physiology of the players. The best the medical teams can do is to patch-up as quickly & as best they can and prevent long-term injuries.
Who is the guy shaking his hand, not the guy holding the frame?
Can’t remember his name but does a lot of the media and presenting of LFCTV
Peter McDowall @Maria
Cheers, he looked familiar, but I couldn’t think for the life of me what his position was at LFC.
Good bye old man . You have been the hero we never knew . May you have a long and healthy life.
