For an 18 year old the 6ft 6ins Ndukwe is a bit of a beast isnāt he? Exciting prospect. Left back Luke Chambers did a brilliant debut job at CB against a very good Wrexham side too.
Stef looks a unit too and clearly Trey and McConnell have grown into their man-bods in the past 12 months. McConnell was very aggressive and physical in the tackle and I loved watching that.

Apparently getting 4 or 5 players is beyond us. Limited to just 3.
On Jones. I think some of our fans overrate him but he is a solid premier league midfielder that has a role and can also cover right back. He wouldnĀ“t be my first midfielder out the door, or even second.
Kostas doesnāt exactly look too thrilled to be in that photo. 
Are we concerned that Jacquet was not at training yesterday and spent the day in the gym? Hope heās not injured himself because that would be a real probel at CB.

A little, yes. The concern probably comes from the injury history of some of the players weāve had in recent years. But Iām also taking Iraola at face value when heās saying theyāre just taking it easy with him.
However..it didnāt take many seconds from I saw it until I thought they should buy two centre backs rather than one.

If he stays I would give it to MacAllister. Gives it all for his countryā¦
And if we can motivate him to do the same for the club then we have a fantastic player and example.

Heās ok, but easily replaced if needed. Wouldnāt mind if he stayed. As I say far bigger things to worry about in our squad than him. If 30-something year old Virgil got injured for exampme, then as things stand weāre writing off our chances of winning trophies this season.
I donāt know whether the Jones/Dom/Tsimikas toys from pram thing is just a storm in a teacup incident, but it does seem to indicate that Iraola has inherited discipline issues that Slot has allowed to fester.
Is van Dijk back with the squad yet? Ali, for that matter, who always comes across as the diplomat in the team.

Virgil is now training alongside Cody in Kirkby, and Alissonāwho is now known online simply as the āBarbecue Manā (because of the photos he posts)āwas on a fishing trip in the wilderness and has now been spotted again at a football stadium somewhere in Brazil. I honestly donāt know whatās going on there.

If he slapped one of my kids like that it would be the last thing he ever did on this earth. When I see this kind of abusive bullying I desperately want to get in a locked room with the man in question and administer suitable retribution.
