As impressive as Mac Allister has been, Sloboszlai has looked out of sorts. If Jones is fit, it wouldn’t be suprising to see him get the start.

I think he will take some time to find his feet.
Might be pre-season catching up with him but so far not really seen a great deal from him.
I prefer him as a deep-lying midfielder. He’s more of a traditional CM than the AM he was shoe horned into being at Brighton. With Mac Allister and Trent taking up deep midfield roles you have two players whose passing can really hurt then with Jones and Szoboszlai in the AM roles you have really fluid movers with a direct goal threat from anywhere in and around the penalty area.
Lavia, if he signs, will be to backup Mac Allister and rotate in. Mac Allister can play further forward, and no doubt will at times, but I don’t think its his best role.
