Liverpool FC - Pre-season

Really not thinking we are going to miss Shaquiri if he leaves… or see him if he stays.

Salah is really poor today, isn’t he… I know that it’s the Norwich game when everyone will need to be 100% switched on, but still…

(great effort from Elliot!)

If there is one person we dont have to worry about its Salah, he will find a way when the season starts

Game has been okayish so far, but far from impressive. I am very worried about Robertson, though I guess we all are that.
It is still early thankfully, but at this moment in time, challenging for the title seems to maybe be a tough ask. But that can change over the next 2-3 weeks if all goes right.

Really happy to see so many kids are at Anfield watching the match, while having several kids playing in this match as well , albeit that we all wish that Beck came on under different circumstances.

Funny to think that they’re both older than Elliott.

I think we deliberately slowed down after Robertson got injured.

I think we did too, but I doubt it was deliberate and on orders from the bench.

Same for anyone calling a shirt a jersey

Can see why we wouldn’t be signing someone for the midfield, clearly good enough.

Full-time 1-1.

A very good first half until Robbo’s horrific injury just before the break. After that, our lads’ rhythm dropped noticeably, and Athletic came back in quite deservedly to be fair.

All in all a good run-out for the lads against sharp opposition. Now let’s cross everything we have that Robbo will come back very quickly!!!

(I’ll keep in my heart that marvelous view of 40k fans singing YNWA. That was a joy to behold!)

Yeah, in the UK it’s always a top, strip, or most often a shirt.

It used to be only for knitted stuff, like wool etc.
I think that is what he means.

Agreed. But I still worry about that though…
