Diogo Jota
Jota is set to miss around two months of action after suffering a knee injury last week.
Speaking ahead of the game against Fulham, Jurgen Klopp said: “The first thought is, it’s better than we then thought, so after all, after the potential surgeons looked at it, there was no surgery needed, but he will be out for a while.”

Joel Matip
Matip was forced off at half time during the 1-1 draw away to Fulham, suffering with a back issue.
After the match Klopp said: “Joel has a spasm in his back. “We will see. He will get treatment and we will see. I think there will be a chance for [Spurs on] Wednesday. “It’s not that bad at the moment.”

Kostas Tsimikas
Only recently back from the injury, like Jota the full-back was set to be assessed ahead of the game with Fulham after picking up a knock on Wednesday night in the Champions League.
“We don’t know exactly [on Jota], but yes, one-and-a-half, two months [out]. We don’t know exactly. It is similar with Kostas Tsimikas by the way, unbelievable.”

James Milner
The midfielder limped off with a hamstring problem during the 1-1 draw with Brighton at the Amex Stadium. Jurgen Klopp confirmed the injury ahead of the match with Ajax and said Milner was no closer to returning ahead of the game against Fulham.

Naby Keita
Keita was not in the squad against Fulham, [absent with a fitness issue.] It remains to be seen what the situation is with the midfielder ahead of the Spurs clash.

Xherdan Shaqiri
The forward added his name to Liverpool’s absentees last month after scans revealed he picked up a muscle problem while with Switzerland. “How I know it, Shaq had a little muscle injury with the national team which he didn’t really realise and then he trained with us,” Reds boss Klopp after his side’s win over Leicester.

“We gave him a day off then he came back and was involved in a session, but it was not fully involved, he just did a little bit. “After that he felt a little bit and then we made a scan and they found out it was an injury from five or six days ago. “Nobody knew about that, not even Shaq knew about that. That’s how things sometimes are. So he was not able to be involved.”

Thiago Alcantara
Thiago missed out on the visit of Leicester City and Atalanta while he was not included in the squad to face Brighton, Ajax, Wolves or Fulham. The midfielder was pictured at the new training ground last month but is expected to remain sidelined until January.

Joe Gomez
Liverpool defender Gomez has had surgery on a tendon in his left knee.

Virgil van Dijk
Liverpool will be without Van Dijk for the majority of the season at the very least after he sustained a serious ACL injury against Everton. He underwent successful surgery in London but Liverpool are reluctant to put a timeframe on his return.Van Dijk is likely to be some way away from resuming ball work on the pitches, but the images will no doubt come as a boost to a Liverpool squad that has been struck by injury problems all season.
