Liverpool Loan Watch

With the new rules on work permits we would have been able to register him (or any English club would) but my guess is that he’s simply more known in Spain and is comfortable there now. He’s oroven himself a good Segunda division player but unfortunately Segunda teams probably aren’t awah with money since everything in Spain goes to Madrid and Barca.

Not really sure why we gave him a new contract last season, maybe we hoped he would be a regular for Alaves and earn a permanent move but unfortunately he soent most of the year on the bench.

Ouch…could’ve chosen better use of words here Fabio, I’m sure he meant nothing by it but notwithstanding not good to hear.

Once he wanted out I knew it’s the end of his Anfield career.

To be honest with some of the social media stuff I’d be shocked to see him playing regularly for us, anyhow get a good loan under him and we can make a nice profit.

Sometimes things don’t happen.

God knows why we are not selling but anyways.

He played well there last season but got injured. I imagine that Newport weren’t willing/in a position to pay for him and they likely would have to give him a paycut on his current deal. Loaning him allows him to have a bit more security financially while still pursuing a professional contract when he eventually does leave.

What’s his contract here?

Effectively probably leave on a free anyhow so if Newport can only afford his wages it’s not the worse deal.

Calvin Ramsay is injured /pity, but looks like his usual condition/ and missed PNE’s draw away at Bristol City.

Balagizi stayed on the bench for Wigan’s away win vs. Derby County

Owen Beck played the whole match for Dundee /1-1 vs.Motherwell/ as a left wing-back in 3-5-2 system.

Rhys Williams is also injured and missed Don’s goalless draw vs. Livingston

Harvey Davies played 90 minutes for Crew. His team finished 2-2 at home vs. Mansfield after trailing 0-2.

Adam Lewis with 90 minutes for Newport County. His team lost 0-3 away at Accrington Stanley.

And few words about Dom Corness. He is on loan at Yverdon. His team already played two matches /loss vs. Zutich and draw vs. Young Boys/. Corness played 25 minutes in the first match away at Zurich and was not used against Young Boys.

Calvin Ramsay has a lengthy setback again. According to some comments on the TIA story we knew he had issues during his medical and we signed him anyway. Is this true?
