First game for the B team of Mainz I think….

believe he has played 3 already for Mainz first team but off the bench.

He is on this team sheet from yesterday.

Liverpool DNA.

When he came to us he had an injury to his back/spine which wasn’t noticed until after he signed.Did he get over that before the knee injury in Jan/Feb happened?

Let’s just sell. He’s young but we all know how this will turn out, especially with Bradley at his level or above.

Injured most of the time, loaned out for years, if we are lucky we sell for about 2 million back to Scotland.

Just cut the ties and save journalists the effort of typing articles about his injuries.

It’s a pity. He looked the part during the few times he got playing time for us. But he seems to go down the way Kewell, Ox, Keita and so many others went.

Injuries are a real trigger to this fanbase, aren’t they?

Woe betide anyone who’s not fit 100% of the time and starting.

Good to know that Sepp van den Berg is getting regular minutes at Mainz. He is playing CB, but in his previous loan spells he played mostly RB/RWB.

IIRC, he played some RB, but mainly the right side of a back 3. Regardless, it is good to see him overcome his bad injury from last season, and, from what I’ve read, is playing well for the worst side in Bundesliga.

Great news, hopefully can finally get his season/career up and running not before long.

Tyler Morton just scored for an early lead for Hull.

2 goals and 2 assists in 12 games.

Seeing on Celtic forums that Phillips is not good enough and should/will be shipped back here come January.

Should have drove him out the door when he had the hype and price tag at its highest. Be lucky to sell for 2 million now!

Playing with no keeper?

whilst it may be revolutionary, I’m not sure if it will catch on with other managers

Big improvements from him compared to last season - clearly enjoying the freedom he gets in Hull’s midfield. At Blackburn he was strictly used as a 6.

Whereas he’s now consistently used as a central midfielder, right? I’ve seen just the clips of his recent goals, I haven’t watched him in quite a while.
