Not watched it but fuck me itās a preseason fitness exercise. I wouldnāt give two fucks if we donāt win a perseason game the whole summer as long as we are ready for the first game of the season!

I assume because the season starts earlier, and they donāt want to be away on a pre-season tour so close to the season starting, so itās been done this way around. The Wrexhamās etc will come closer to the PL season start.

PL have done this for a while, well I assume itās that, suppose the bean counters love the idea. Though Iād rather play all stars or Japanese and Chinese sides they would be a better test being half way through their seasons.

It doesnāt though, as I said we can organise our own tour as we have done plenty of times instead of playing games like this as our first friendly.
I think a first match between Liverpool vs TAN Elites would be a great first preseason game.
