His position has been the same for the last couple of seasons, that he wants to go out for more playing time, but the club simply didn’t want to let him do it. If we refuse to sell him, what can he do? Go on strike?
Everyone knows what you’re outlining is what would be preferred for fans and possibly the club. It doesn’t mean it’s the most likely situation, nor what the players themselves want.
Mixed loyalties today as the wife is from Northumberland and the in laws are all Geordies. They love their football as much as we do and I’ve always had good craic with them. But it’s still LFC for me even though I might be in the dog house come 7 pm. I remember the cup final of 74 - what a game! Hope this one can be at least half as good. Think it will be close but the reds to shade it by 1 goal.
Where is this shit coming from? Second time today I’ve seen that. Prior to 74 a quick check shows we had won 8 League Titles to their 4 and 1 FA Cup and Uefa Cup to their zero. Their last major domestic trophy at the time was by then 50 years in the past while Liverpool had been transformed by Shankly. It’s being made out that this one game was the difference between two teams equal in honors who then went on two different trajectories because of it. Pretty fucking thick slant, that, fuck me.
I dont know, but my assumption was probably the same as @Bekloppt 's. That Kelleher would be moving on this summer and either Jaros or someone else would play the back up role.
We’ve been somewhat spoilt with having a keeper of Kelleher’s quality as back up, and it might be that his fee will be wanted to offset spending in other areas in the squad.
Yeah I said something similar earlier. The ridiculous quoting of some ol’ geordie cunt who gave up being a season ticket holder fifteen years ago is crazy. Almost like we’ve got our own Geordie Mubsies as deep sleep agents. We need @SBYM to sniff them out…
