Liverpool v Sunderland (EPL 3/12/25 20:15)

Nothing wrong with Robbo. Leave him alone
The midfield are just not working hard enough to allow the little one twos with the wingers and create space and opportunity for a cross. More often than not Robbo starts his progress down the wing and there is no one to pass it too. Gakpo is too far ahead and Mac is static

Can you remind me what chances Sunderland have had? Ali saved one onto the bar. I don’t recall any others really. I think we’ve defended pretty well.

Yes, all their chances have been from outside the area, similar to us.

Same as West Ham. Game was dire but they created nothing

Well what about our chances thats what most are commenting on the pondering side to side stuff we play.

Hard to see from the TV but we do seem to be playing deep and poor old Wirtz and Isak doing doggies chasing them down, especially the 1st 25 mins.

To be honest, I wasn’t expecting a major improvement; we have to be realistic and see where we stand. Given our current situation, even small steps forward are positive.

Poor old Isak, had no service whatsoever. He must be thinking what have I done !!

Remember not that long ago when Villa were fucked?

It’s almost as if teams go in and out of bumpy patches…

Don’t be so patronising.

If you think this football the last 10 months is anywhere near good enough for the players out on that pitch, then I’d advise you to rewatch some old footage from past Liverpool sides, with much lesser talented players, because it was a tenfold better than this absolute fucking garbage.

What led us getting to “an appalling run of form” in the first place, weren’t we crowned champions 8 months ago? We had no problems turning to shit by switching it off did we?

I watch teams like fucking Como play better football than us.

Sorry @RER not a reply to you.

lol

The crowd seems to be trying.
We couldn’t play out from the back.
Need to get the ball and pass correctly, this is a little painful.
Still if we get some rhythm going we could score. Macca’s effort was close!
So come on stop messing around with this silly system and play.

Looks like Mo is on in the second half.

Not the move I would have made, but maybe the thinking is that Sunderland are not used to playing midweek and might tire? They’ve also got Newcastle at the weekend I think?

Who knows. I don’t think I can take 45mins of Mo hoping that the left back phases out of this dimension when he runs right at them.

If Salah does come on, I’d like to see Szobo go alongside Grav and remove Macca.

We have done pretty well.

They haven’t scored yet but their movement through the midfield is going unchecked allowing them to press the attack around the box. We only need to make one stupid error.

I am just not used to seeing us under so much pressure at the back. I miss our high press

We have the quality, it hasn’t just disappeared.

I, for one, welcome the Moments FC era.

Shhh its good because its nil nil.

Well don’t be so bloody basic then. We’ve just lost how many on the spin before the weekend and you’re moaning it’s 0-0 at half time.

Jesus wept, the players aren’t fucking robots. Not conceding us the first order of business here. We build from that.

Salah’s on.

Right, this is his fault now.

This football is a fucking disgrace.

If you lose you show some bollocks and you scrap like yard dogs, we’re soft and gutless.
