Neither. It’s just a PL match. We’ve been knocked out of Carabao already.
As we’re doing temperatures, it’s 18° right now will be 28° later.
Should be very warm for the cricket up in Brisbane.

. I thought it was one of the Cup rounds.
I can’t. I haven’t got a tamper yet. Using the back of a teaspoon is very unsatisfactory.
Yes, Ekitike has been better but as I said I think Isak suits this formation better atm just because if the runs he makes, when he makes them
I’m hoping this is Slot aiming for his preferred future state. Obviously, I am hoping it actually wins as well.
For me the formation helps us massively defensively and also helps Wirtz to get on the ball with runners off him
Just for espresso ?
I like the team. At some point I would be interested to see how Ekitike would do in Gakpo’s role, especially coming inside forward (!) a bit, but Gakpo did well enough last game.
Isak up top - lovely. He stretches it a bit more and last game he was linking up with Wirtz, which is definitely something to build on. A fit and firing Isak will be a great asset.
Salah on the bench is the big news. I agree with the decision, but I thought Slot would start Mo. At that point I am delighted to see Slot making the decision, even if it is with a club legend. Ideally if Mo comes off the bench he is fired up and puts in a great performance, as I don’t think he is finished, but neither should he be a nailed on starter.
Slightly surprised Gomez is starting again, due to the injection, his fitness record and us being down to bare bones in central defence. No complaints about his game though, I thought he did very well against West Ham and we looked solid down his flank.
Robbo for Kerkez, no problem here. Kerkez will be the main man, and he rightly sees more action even now, but Robbo still has something good to bring and after his Scotland heroics he should be fresh for this one.
Bring it on. Can’t wait. Hopefully another three points.
Sorry, why are we playing EPL match on a Wednesday night? This is odd.
Isak with a goal in each half… You heard it here first
I don’t know if it means anything…but it seems to be FACUP weekend for the smaller clubs..
Watching the team warming up…he looks in pain all the time..
Sunderland are no mugs. They have played well in this league so far.
Up the Reds!!
