We must be close to the point that the potential offensive threat Trent has (heās not doing much that end either) isnāt outweighing his defensive liability.

when TAA is not being effective in the offensive end, he is jus a liability. every team over and over again just attacks his side with very good results
Not Trentās fault alone. Our midfield has always protected him in these situations, which has been lacking. Either tactically wrong to expect him to do both or Elliott and Fab are equally guilty here. Fab was strolling back, donāt think Trent just stood there watching after that run.

The focus on Trent (yes he was beaten) when the main problem is what happened after Matip pulled wide to cover Trent. Fab who is supposed to be the cover dropping in is making NO FUCKING EFFORT to get back. Ajax could have passed out around for fun through the lack of pressure once the ball fell behind the defenders. The defending, particularly by the midfielders is surely a joke?
