If we’re winning I’d rather bring on Milner to protect the win than Elliott or Jones, if we’re losing with Fab/Thiago/Hendo - I can’t see Elliott or Jones making a difference.

Sure, but compared to Ox? Minamino? I know Minamino has played a big role in the cup progress so I wonder if this is along the same lines as retaining Kelleher?

Werner is on the bench as well. Happy to see Jorginho not starting though. He’s as slow as fuck but with the unique skill set to make us chase shadows almost every time we play against him.

Yeah, well… I don’t think Klopp looks at it in a romantic way, putting players he knows will be here next season compared to the likes of Ox, Taki, Origi. He’s probably going for a combination of form and experience. Those weren’t straightforward decisions I think, but I’m fine with them.
I bet all three of Elliott, Gomez and Jones start on Wednesday

I could see them making a difference more than Ox. Yes Minamino has contributed a lot to getting us to the final, I accept that. With that logic, he should be starting ahead of Salah who’s not contributed at all 
Yeah difficult decisions on who to leave out completely now that the squad is looking much stronger and almost everyone is fit

We’ll see which sides do Mount and Pulisic occupy.
You’d think that Mount could try and put Thiago in a sandwich without the ball together with Kante and release Pulisic 1v1+ around Trent’s zone.
But it could be the opposite also, having Pulisic to go wider and more direct on the right side ahead of Azpi.
Hopefully Diaz causes some havoc between Chalobah and Azpi.
