Liverpool vs. Crystal Palace: League Cup Fourth Round-October 29

It’s been a while.

Liverpool have one win in last six games. Palace have two wins and a draw in last six games. Come on Reds, raise hell. Be a believer.

Just need a consistent team formation now and players have to fight for the right to wear the shirt.

Last chance for European football next season.

We are still in 7th so technically not.

I think if there is a chance to try something new this is the game hopefully Grav and Isak are available to give some minutes and Jones isn’t too serious.

The Villa game on Saturday now takes on massive importance. Lose that with a game at City the next week we are in unchartered territory and quite frankly 6 defeats on the bounce are totally fucking unacceptable for this football club.
Play the kids and back-ups in this one. We can still put out a competitive side and I doubt Palace will go full strength either having played today and a game on Saturday to come.

Prime objective: keep a fucking clean sheet.

I think I’d give Woodman a game…

Nah, it’s absolutely no time to pratically throw any game away.

Nuh. Prime objective is to win.

So say the Prime Radiant. :slightly_smiling_face:

Most important game of the season!
Gives some fringe players a chance to shine.
A must win?

Barring injury, put out the strongest team.

It is clear that the players have not yet developed the understanding of the tactic and eachother, so need to get them playing together until it clicks.

Gorst/Echo:

Freddie Woodman will make his Liverpool debut in goal against Crystal Palace on Wednesday.

Great, should be another wild XI then.

Then if the idea is to rest for Saturday and risk losing 6 in 7, send the whole Academy against Palace and take the first team and staff to a mini training camp somewhere until Friday.

For some reason I read that a “take the first team and staff to a mini bar somewhere”… I think either can work…
