At the moment yep…never used to be…used to be a full glass…but alas things aren’t going to plan at the moment…

Love your optimism

You never like to lose a game, but I find myself not too bothered about that one. It was very much a fringe/U21 team. At that point you win some you lose some, and Palace played a stronger side and that was that.

What I am more concerned about is the first team. We need to get out of this run of losses asap. And then coupled with that, I’d like to see a clear strategy emerge, as we have chopped and changed to no avail the last few weeks.

Diamond. Get the new attacking talent on the pitch if possible. If Isak still not fit get Salah up top in a two with Ekitike. Show some pride and get back on the win bus and let’s go from there.

Arne played the same system as Amorim which was more a 5 2 3 would have been much better with 2 up top and 3 in midfield allowing our full backs more scope to help the attack.

Massive space for our 2 midfielders to cover and even a bigger gap between the midfield and attackers

Hate to say, not looking forward to.

This was the first match since 2012 that I didn’t even bother to watch, or even check the score until bed. The honeymoon is over, Slot spent more money than was have ever done before in one transfer window and made us WORSE.

not sure how the fuck you manage to do that, but he did. How the fuck do you spend £120mil on a striker and he doesn’t have a league goal nearly three months into the season.

Fucking shambles. Worse run of play I have seen since the Hodgson era. Even Rodgers didn’t have a run this bad.

Yet he has yet to lose 6-1 to Stoke.

It’s not just Slot, Hughes and Edwards also have just as much to answer for.

This is also something I can’t understand. Rio was explosive at the beginning of the season. Slot could have used that confidence and carefully integrated him into the first team but we never saw him again.

He’s seized up sitting on the bench every week.

Lets pin our hopes on a seventeen year old boy.
Great idea. Then we can shred him when he inevitably fails.

In effect we have just opted opted out of the League Cup so our first teamers can have a rest from their efforts and be fresh to continue to give 100% to our on going campaign to win the Premiership.
Deluded or what ?
Does anyone else who makes a complete bollox of their highly paid job get rewarded with a week off ?

Are we thinking about this the wrong way. Maybe the meeting that Virgil called with the players was to organise a strike. Maybe they just don’t want to play on a cold wet and windy day up north for the meagre sums they are compensated with…

Corporate isn’t going to outlay those funds without the manager approving. The buck stops with him

We don’t have a manager.
