I really wanted us to take this seriously. Know Iām in the minority there because people are convinced we can draw every three/4 games and still win the league if we kybosh the domestic cups, but still I wanted this taken seriously and I see it as a much more likely avenue for success this season.
Been years since we won the league cup or the fa cup. Leicester are fucking shit, when we play them after Christmas with a full team weāll dick them. As is, thousands of fans have travelled in poor weather with poor prospects for fans remaining in stadiums in Jan, to watch us jn a quarter final. This is embarrassing. Not because weāre losing. Not because of how little people care about the cup. Itās embarrassing because of the level of disregard being shown to the fans who have made the fucking effort to turn, in winter, late on a work night, in fresh wave of a shitty virus, to watch us play a quarter final only to be dicked because half our team are skipping doing their homework.
If weād put out a less piss-taky line up and were still losing. Fine, fair dos. Happens. That is not the case. There could have been stronger line up that still allowed players rest.
