Liverpool vs Norwich: FA Cup fourth-round, January 28, Sunday, 14:30 GMT

Why, what’s wrong with our current head of physio?

Could be a shout for Xabi’s assistant

Will be in the middle of the night here. Looking forward to seeing what the atmosphere is like. Should be pretty good.
Will be interesting to see how the players react. I’m expecting an intense performance.
Norwich have nothing to lose. It’ll be the highlight of the season for them.

Its FA Cup fourth round day, and it should elicit a bit of excitement…but events of the week have produced a monumental head fuck which has distracted us from the business end of football.

Hopefully a strongish team to do the job and keep us active on four fronts.
Klopp wants emotion concerning his departure suspended for now.
Hard as that is, I think the players will respect those wishes.

I think the players will use it and drive others to give it their all.

Likes of VVD, Trent and Robertson will be very vocal if they see lads not giving it their all.

Almost forgot there was a game today.

I don’t doubt the players will initially at least continue as it was, they will certainly not want the outside possibly detecting some of them “trying less”.

In fact, there is potential danger for wanting it too much in the reminder of the season. Hopefully we don’t become too wild, too emotional, go back to red cards, suspensions and stuff like that.

Off the pitch, who knows, that might change the picture for some of them.

I’m going to the game today, main stand upper tier, so I’ll take binoculars with me. It’ll be interesting to see what the atmosphere is like, after Klopp’s announcement.

I think players would wait to see who is recruited.

Could see issues if it’s the wrong guy into next season. I do think it’s why there is one obvious choice for me.

I expect better atmospheres for sure, the ones Klopp often asked for…

The irony is that since Shanks and Kenny, he’s been the most loved individual at the club, also the one that questioned the atmosphere more than anyone else (or even the only one).

:joy:

If you’re row 90-93, you’ll need a telescope.

I think we need a serial winner, someone line Mourinho, Conte or Touchel…

You are joking right

I was going for broadsheet types, not so much in the Fail category…

                 alisson

bradley konate quansah beck
ryan james jones
diaz jota nunez

Feels a bit light on experience - would go with a bit more experience. Beck and Quansah on the same side at the back feels like the weak point and would take away from Jones in the attacking third…

Nyoni and Gordon both starting for the u21s now. Gonna be a very strong forward line at least.
