Only having to win by 2 clear goals in Spain then battering them on penalties is a great result.
Can’t our coaches see it is our progression through midfield that is the problem

these guys are next level now…watching them play and im not even dissappointed…
still amazes me this fella managed Everton…like as in…‘yes, ill manage you guys, why not?’…he actually agreed to it…weird.

Yeah, we are no longer driving the game. Real Madrid have stepped up and we have kind of lost the momentum big time. I know many blame Allison for loss of momentum, but we should be stronger mentally than that. Madrid didn’t collapse when Cortouis made a howler.
Now we need something to happen for us. Perhaps if we score, we can regain momentum…
We need 3 changes in midfield.

Would’ve prefered a change in midfield as well.
Ancelotti is not usually a very active coach but I have to praise him for this team. This isn’t the best Madrid team but it is the best coached Madrid team I’ve seen for a while. They’ve got a tactical identity that isn’t just “hope our best players win us the game” and I wasn’t really expecting that.
