On the wrong feet !!

Ibouuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu

Sorry to confuse, he hasn’t scored…just exceptional piece of defending.

I just feel like being slightly honest. I am honestly a bit disappointed with gakpo in front of a goal. I thought he would be a better finisher when we bought him honestly.

There, now on to a more fun topic.

Literally ancient at 24 :joy:

He is really not in form at the minute. Wants twice as long on the ball to get his shot away than he can expect at any level.

Well not any striker…

He has scored some sublime goals.

I get the sense he is very much a confidence player, the exact opposite of Darwin who plays football like a puppy humping your leg.

Cody will be fine.

Imo, he has never been very good for us since we bought him. Okay at times, fantastic never.
My opinion anyway. But he is still young. Not 18 though…

Probably needs a game or two off to get his head right. We don’t have that liberty though.

Think I prefer Gomez at RB.

Maybe. He has never really impressed me so far. We’ll see.

Yes, he has.

I’ve posted before that he has all the attributes but he is too “nice”.

Lacks that killer instinct.

Yes he is genuinely a nice lad

It seems unfair that we have Virgil’s regen at the same time as Virgil himself.

There are things Gakpo does really well. His link up play , positioning and defensive contributions etc etc.

Gakpo is arguably our 5th choice forward. Not many squads with a player that good so deep in the rotation.
