Liverpool vs. Wolves: FA Cup Third Round: Saturday, January 7, 20:00 GMT

Case in point right here, take biasy out of it.

Nothing to whine about, we had to win them both on pens which showcases how close we were to losing them…had we lost them no one would be crying over losing a quadruple.

Given that we seem to have been kicking the thing straight at the keeper all season I’ll take that.

Well he is the boss

Really? I thought we were fairly alright until conceding, when we then seemed to fall apart mentally for a while before recovering. It could also have worked the other way, that Wolves got a confidence boost from scoring, but it definitely wasn’t that bad.

HT 1-1:

Fortunately, there is this move for the equalizer from us- Otherwise, five good first minutes with a lot of controlled passes and some really good attacking moves. Then, the usual patterns unfolded, with the exact same result: the opposition opens the score, this time from an incredible clanger by Allisson.

Then, nothing. No reaction from the lads, the same errors, no danger at all and Wolves were near to the 2-0 before that last moment of brilliance just before the break. Trent sees Nunez picking up a lung-breaking sprint towards goal, and finds him with a sublime pass. Nunez finishes the move very accurately, well done!

Nevertheless, hopefully Klopp can find solutions to address this general misery, otherwise we’ll probably go out tonight. Wolves aren’t bad at all.

Why does ITV have Lenny Henry in the studio…

WTF it’s Emile Heskey

‘Ridiculous finish’

Liverpool 1-1 Wolves

Michael Brown

Former Manchester City midfielder on BBC Radio 5 Live

That is a ridiculous goal. Trent Alexander-Arnold has all the space on the right hand side and he plays the ball really deep.

Darwin Nunez is stepping onto it and he catches it as clean as you will ever see and guides it past the goalkeeper into the far corner. Ridiculous Finish!

Yes, that was an unbelievable save shortly after the mistake.

Who cares, about time some luck went his way.

As always a brilliant run and a beautiful finish…Andy Carroll couldn’t do that.

Shin, knee, ankle, thigh…whatever part…its in…

Trent’s crosses are as stylish as Ernie Els’ golf swing.

Unbelievable… how bad it was?

(I’m joking)

Don’t mention the war, or the kick into touch or the kick to the yellow shirted player.
