Liverpool vs. Wolves: FA Cup Third Round: Saturday, January 7, 20:00 GMT

818 for me

You might be wishing it was on SD later…the way we’re playing

Surprised that Ali is playing tonight.
hopefully we win but most importantly no new injuries

Really surprised. I thought it was a given that your back up keeper gets the early rounds of the cups.

Surprisingly strong team, looks like JK is trying to play the team into some sort of form.

Expecting Cody to rescue our season tonight. No pressure lad

Always exciting to see a new signing play. Especially when it’s a forward.

No pressure or expectations for the lad, but if he doesn’t score at least 4 goals, then he was a waste of money!

Good to see there were no new injuries ie: Keita.

Kelleher would probably have played had we been at home to some minnow. Away to another Premier League side, and with this our most realistic hope of silverware this season, I’m not surprised that Jürgen has gone full strength.

I know he went with Ali last year in this cup for most of it.

Saving this post for later. There is some particularly long strands of grass by the midfield line that he could trip on.

But he never let us down against the likes of Chelsea and even other prem sides when he had the chance? I can’t see why he didn’t get the start even if we go strong outfield. We don’t need to play Ali into form like our outfielders

Because Alisson is the better goalkeeper and gives us the best chance of winning.

Isn’t that our strongest line up?

…Klopp does realise this is a cup game doesn’t he :see_no_evil:

This team needs to play itself in to form. Next game a week away. I’m pleased its not the kids.

Different competition, don’t think beating these does anything for Brighton.

Plus I’ve seen us too many times smash teams like Utd in cups only to go lose next league game away at relegation fodders…every game has to be treated differently.

Shame 2 or 3 kids couldn’t get in, if we can’t use this as a chance to see what they can do what’s the point having an academy…waiting on your first XI to get injured to give them game time isn’t the way to bring kids through.

What is MO doing in a Wolves shirt…! :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Looks more like Douglas Luiz than Mo.

Arguably full strength. Nice one Jurgen, proper respect for the competition.

Jurgen said he’d go with a strong team here.

Last game was 5 days ago, next one is in 7 days.

Last result was crap, we need to raise our level, not much of a need to make many changes.

Its not about who we play or in what competition. Its about the team. We have been a bad way, and the best way to fix it is to do it out on the pitch and focus on getting the basics right.

As for youngsters…suspect we see some arou d the 60min mark.
