Liverpool Women

Not sure how much interest there is, but we just won 2-1 in the other game against United going on today:

Our women’s team will be moving to a new stadium:

At least, it will be a groundshare with St Helens Rugby Club rather than Tranmere Rovers. I’m not sure what state the pitch would be in. I know Prenton Park had its pitch problems but I can’t imagine that a rugby pitch will be any better.

And we did it again, winning 1-0 today in the final home game of the season (and therefore the final game at Prenton Park).

Unfortunately they started their season with a 1-1 draw, Haug getting our goal.

Game for free on YouTube on Sunday.

Thankfully it’s finished 3-2 to us. Finally a win this season.

We nearly let it slip though, needed a penalty at the death to win it after we let them equalise twice.

Lost 1-2 to City at Anfield today. Once again we took the lead but simply couldn’t hold it, it seems.

Another draw, at home to Crystal Palace. Former Red Stengel took the lead for them before we equalised.

Beat Villa 2-1 away thanks to a double from Hinds. 6th in the table now, but the teams above us have quite a few more points/games in hand.

Lost 0-3 at home to Chelsea today. Surprisingly, despite the vibe of gloomy results that I’ve gotten, it seems that we’re largely getting similar results to last season.

Lost 1-0 away to Everton today, was a 0-0 draw last season.

EDIT: Penalty for foul outside the box apparently.
