Yeah, typical of Liverpool to get my hopes up like that to then pull the rug from under my feet
Disappointing loss, and quite the reversal from our 0-4 win last season.
It was Leicester’s second win of the season.
In more cheerful news, at least one of our teams managed to progress in the FA Cup…
“Liverpool in crisis as they sack manager on the verge of the title”
I guess in a way it does show that we do have an ambition for the women’s team, something that hasn’t always been apparent.
I don’t know much about the women’s game but we did recruit in the winter and it doesn’t seem to have seen any fruits.
Bit of interesting detail: Palace also only just sacked their manager:

That’s a way to counter a new manager bounce
Have just beaten Arsenal 1-0 at Meadow Park to reach the Women’s FA Cup semi-finals.
Congratulations to Amber and the girls!
What kind of lowlife does that?
Since they sacked the manager the current caretaker seem to be doing alright since. They are playing Manure in the league it is on TV and they are doing ok so far?
I wonder who oversees it?
Well that was the 3rd win in a row and in the semis of the cup. Manure had only lost once and challenging chelski for the league. 3:1 win was very comfortable. They have gone from 7th to 5th in the league.
Currently 1-0 up against Chelsea in the FA Cup semi final.

Damn it Chelsea got a 90+4 winner.
