Guess he’s not playing for the first-team this evening then…

I doubt it’ll be a very rotated team.

U19s lineup is

Misciur
Pitt Lucky Nallo Pinnington
Nyoni Davidson
Kone-Doherty Young Ngumoha
Danns

Subs: Bernard, Hall; Ahmed, Bradshaw, Figueroa, O’Connor, Sonnie-Lambie

Ranel Young has just been given a straight red card, despite the protests of the Liverpool commentary on LFCtv I don’t see any complaint there. Young went in hard, studs up and planted on the Girona player’s ankle.

I assume it’s Steve Hunter? He is hardly the most objective of commentators. :joy:

Yup it was a red for me.

Shame as up to then we were pretty dominant.

It was a joke, I didn’t expect otherwise, especially given that he’s rehabilitating after his own injury.

1-1 now, penalty.

Great goal to make it 2-1 to Girona.

In other news the scorer of the penalty for Girona has been subbed off and is crying his eyes out for some strange reason.

Well done Girona U21s only looked decent when facing 10 men (boys).

I went to shovel my driveway and missed it but Trent Kone-Doherty scored late to make it 2-2.

Unfortunately when you live in Maine then it becomes a fact of life - unless you like having a wife angry at you all day!

We signed 16-year-old defender Lucas Clarke from Man City.

Is he Van Dijk’s successor @Sweeting?

He’s an U16 player, and hasn’t featured for Man City U18s yet, so I’ve not had the chance to see him play unfortunately.
