16 year-old defender Zane Whelan has completed a move to Crewe Alexandra from Liverpool.

Whelan spent the past 6 years at Liverpool and despite signing his scholarship with Crewe in November last year, has continued training at Liverpool - and will do so until the end of the season.

The young right-back has been playing for Crewe’s U16 and U18 sides since joining, where he has already made an impressive impact.

Bare in mind, I’m getting this information from some good accounts on X. So no credit to myself.

Just trying to clean it up and present it to those interested!

Few bits of news I’ve robbed from X.

Rumour has it that Ekiugbo, who has also been called up to the U16 team, will leave the club this summer.

Cameron Williams seems to be out for the season.
Up to now, he’s suffered three injuries each to his right and left quadriceps.

Liverpool U21 will play PSG u21 this afternoon in a friendly as prep for when the PL2 resumes.

Lost 3-1 with Calvin Ramsey scoring and Will Wright missing a penalty.

Updates from Lewis Bower!

U16 player Zak Coxon has been called up to the Liverpool U18 squad for the first time today who play Nottingham Forest U18s. Versatile but most recently a number nine, plays with a lot of purpose.

I would consider Vincent Joseph’s recent integration into the Liverpool U18 team a positive one in terms of an LFC future, not based on any information, more based on how the club have operated in recent years. Although, much is out of character this season.

Recently told by a well respected person a move to United unlikely about a month ago.
