With Abe being seen as a top talent, do you think we will go for Diomande who currently plays in his position?
Yes, I donāt think that will factor in to anyoneās thinking at this stage in Abeās development. If you can get Diomande, who most think is an elite player already, then do it. Even if he decides to piss off at 23 and play for Madrid, Abe wonāt even be 20 at that point.
One thing I really like about Diomande is that heās two-footed and can play well on both sides. That gives us flexibility when needed. Winger is a demanding position and I think we could rotate a little bit. Especially, I donāt want to throw Rio or Abe into full 90-minute matches anytime soon. So having someone who can play both sides would help, IMO.
He has pace, which I like, he has physicality, which i like and he works hard for the team, which I like, he has a lot of things I like.
I donāt like the price though!

I think we need to get used to the new price standard. Around £50m is just good enough for Premier League level. Top players or those with potential to be top players will be close to £100m. Real star players will be £100m++. Unless they have a release clause.
I donāt like it I want to scweam and scweam and scweam

can we get more stuff on this Abe kid?
pretty excited judging by Sweetings post and Rio etc
Very quick, very direct, highly technical. Goes straight at defenders, first thought is to get a shot in. Gets roughed up quite a bit and just comes straight back for more. Havenāt seen him diving or rolling around either he doesnāt go in for all that crap.
Iām not usually one to recommend youtube scouting but this video gives a good idea about him. Bear in mind that for the clips he is playing for Liverpool he is a 15-year-old playing U18 football (he doesnāt turn 16 until July).
He scored eight and assisted three in ten appearances for the U18s this season. For comparison Rio Ngumohaās 15-year-old season he played nine U18 games for Chelsea, scored one, assisted one and was signed and fast-tracked to our first-team.
No doubt in my mind he is getting the same treatment and will be part of the first team squad regularly within the next three of years.
Itās all there with Abe, think of a potential for Salah pace and dribbling mixed with Eze skills and you have it. Whatās exciting too is the amount of power he already has at 15. Sooo strong and can muscle much older players aside but best of all this is all done with a high level of intelligence in his positioning, passing and link play. Heās still a work in progress of course and needs developing carefully but the tools are all there.
Shout out too for Erik Farkas, another Hungarian midfielder in the Bernardo Silva mould and silky Kareem Ahmed when he can stay healthy.
Small price to pay to keep hold of Erik.
I wondered was it a deal relating to his brother.
Extra body for the midfield as he wasnāt doing too much for Blackburn u21s.
What is the extent of Abeās knee injury is he over it yet?

This fella seems to be knowledgeable about Liverpool Youth players so could be accurate.
(It seems that when Iraora visited AXA, by chance Danns, Ndiaye, Gordon, and another person were having a fitness session, and thereās a rumor that he inspected it.
Heās seen as a fan of Danns, and from the time he was with Bournemouth, heās highly evaluated him, and apparently tried to acquire him together with Doak, or maybe not.)
Should be fit for pre-season.
Just watched Luca Eden highlights v Derby U18ās, awesome for a 14 year old playing at that level hopefully he progresses as he has shades of a certain old number 8 of ours.
Do we have a promising left back or another left footed player who could make it as a first team LB in the future?
Kerkez likely to be the future but Tsimikas has one year left on his contract so thereās a chance for someone next year.
