Give me lucky generals.
Liverpool 3-0 everton.
McConnell, Cannonier, Clark. Latest score.
Stephenson and Bajcetic best players on the pitch today. Totally dominant.
Keyrol Figueroa, son of Maynor, just come on for his debut. He only turned 15 in July.
Bajcetic 4-0.

Liverpool U18s produced a magnificent display to claim a 4-0 victory over Everton in Saturdayâs mini-derby at the Kirkby Academy.
Goals from James McConnell, Oakley Cannonier, Bobby Clark and Stefan Bajcetic in the U18 Premier League North fixture gave the young Reds the well-deserved three points.
McConnell opened the scoring with a brilliant strike from distance after 21 minutes before Cannonier made it 2-0 early in the second half.
Clark scored in the 65th minute with a close-range finish as Bajcetic then completed a satisfying afternoonâs work for Marc Bridge-Wilkinsonâs side.
It was no surprise to see the hosts take the lead during a dominant first-half display.
Melkamu Frauendorf forced a pair of early saves from Everton goalkeeper Zan-Luk Leban, who then could do nothing to keep out McConnellâs opener.
A high Liverpool press saw Tommy Pilling win back possession in the final third, and McConnell finished off the attack with a fierce strike from the edge of the box that arrowed into the top corner.
Cannonier couldâve made it 2-0 but hit the bar with a flick-on header and then fired wide after a McConnell shot was parried out by Leban.
Right on the stroke of half-time, the Everton stopper was called upon again, this time to keep out an Eddie Jones deflection from Bobby Clarkâs cross.
Liverpool picked up from where they left off after the interval.
Not deterred by misses in the opening period, Cannonier doubled his sideâs advantage with a well-worked goal.
Luca Stephenson threaded a brilliant through ball to his No.9, who received the pass on the half-turn and drilled it into the far corner with his second touch.
There was a warning sign when Everton hit the crossbar through substitute Martin Sherif, though the Reds responded in the perfect way.
Stephenson fed Cannonier again as the striker then attempted to round Laban. But the Everton stopper inadvertently knocked the ball towards Clark, allowing him to tap in the third.
Bridge-Wilkinsonâs charges werenât finished, however.
Two minutes before the end of the 90, Bajcetic was on hand at the back post to prod home Luke Chambersâ whipped corner.
Liverpool U18s: Mrozek, Davidson, Bajcetic, Miles, Chambers, Stephenson, McConnell, Pilling, Frauendorf, Clark (Gyimah, 88), Cannonier (Figueroa, 84).
Unused substitutes: Hewitson, Lucky, Laffey.
Interesting team for the U23s.
Iâm picturing this as the formation
Hughes
Quansah Boyes Koumetio Gallacher
Bearne Clayton Dixon-Bonner
Bradley Woltman Beck
Good example of the lack of firepower in the U23s at the moment. Looking forward to the impact Frauendorf, Clark, Stewart etc can have when back from injury/moved up from U18s.
Looks like Pitaluga, Blair and Morton will have travelled with first team. Nice reward for them. Harvey Davies is injured so misses out.
Whats with the Gordon, Balagizi, Musialowski trio? Missed Carabao entirely. Now saw Gordon training with first team, Balagizi on the bench for u23, Polish lad missed completely.
All had injuries recently.
Liverpool 3-1 Derby
Koumetio, Woltman, Dixon-bonner.
With his goal scoring I really hope Oakley Cannonier can become a real top star! Be a wonderful story with an even more wonderful name!
U18âs playing Atletico. 0-0 at 60min
64â 1-0. great pass from the advanced CB to the striker. quick turn, tidy finish in the bottom cornerâŚ
70â 2-0. another CB involvement off a corner kick. ball settles to his feet in the box. nice footwork to get the ball out from under him and slots it in the far corner.
Any idea what happened to Blair? Saw that he came off after having come on as a subâŚ
Woltman and Quansah with the goals.
Blair skipped a defender with ease but took a slightly heavy touch that let the goalkeeper come out. They clashed legs and both stayed down after the collision (I think it was a touch naughty from the goalkeeper but he rolled around to act the victim). Blair came off a few minutes later but it didnât look too serious.
it was a great run that started at the sideline and he rounded the defender with ease. unfortunate touch at the end when i hoped he would go for a cutback to set up the trailing man.
